Graduation Ceremony 2026: From students to alumna

On May 8, 2026 a special milestone has been reached for a group of students at FH Münster
The offical graduation ceremony 2026 for MSB students.

Over the past semesters, especially the IMS graduates have developed advanced expertise in international marketing, strategic sales management, digital marketing, and intercultural communication.
The IMS programme combines academic excellence with practical industry experience, preparing students for leadership roles in internationally operating companies.
The programme's strong international focus, including opportunities for studying abroad and collaborating with global partners, equips gradues with the skills needed to succeed in an increasingly connected business environment.

The graduation celebration was a moment to recognize not only academic achievements but also personal growth, teamwork, and the many challenges that students successfully mastered throughout their studies.
From project work and presentations to international experiences and research activities, especially every IMS graduate contributed to the vibrant and diverse IMS community.

Graduation marks the end of an exciting academic journey and the beginning of new professional opportunities around the world.

Mika Lee and her path to Master of arts

One of this year's graduates, Mika Lee, knows exactly how much can happen during two years in the IMS program.
Originally from London, Mika wasn't sure what to expect when she moved to Münster.
"Coming from a big city, Münster felt very different a first", she says. "But over time, I completely fell in love with the city, its atmosphere, and the lifestyle - especially going by bike from A to B."

What started as curiosity during her first semester quickly turned into an adventure.
Mika spent a semester abroad at National Taipei University in Taiwan, one of MSB's partner universities, where she gained valuable international experience and built friendships across cultures. "Doing a study abroad in Taiwan was one of the best desicions I have made. I've meet so many people who became a bit like family. I'm flying to Australia this summer to visit my friend Hannah, who also did her exchange semester during that time!"

Mika also decided to extend her studies by an additional semester to complete a sales internship at Dr. Oetker, giving her the opportunity to apply crucial knowledge in a real business environment.
"When is the best time to do an internship and explore your future career if not during your studies?"

Balancing courcework, projects, and internships responsibilities were not always easy. "There were definitely stressful moments - make it weeks haha," Mika admits. "But having fellow students who became some of my closest friends made all the difference. We supported each other, cried and laughed together through times and celebrated every success together."

Now, as an recent IMS alumna, Mika looks back on her journey with gratitude. The challanges were real, but so were the rewards. For future IMS students, she has a simple advance:
"Embrace every opportunity, step outside your comfort zone, and enjoy the people you meet along the way. Oh and also buy a rain jacket - you will definitly need one!"

Congratulations to all graduates!

As the graduates move forward into new careers, international opportunities, and further academic pursuits, they remain an important part of the IMS network.
Their achievements reflect the dedication, ambition, and international mindset that define the program.

The entire IMS community wishes you continued success, exciting opportunities, and a bright future ahead.
