(a) For students starting in the winter semester:
You can choose 6 ECTS from the compulsory elective module Marketing Specialization & Key Competences.
Additional modules that are manatory but only offered in the winter semester:

(b) For students starting in the summer semester:
You can choose 6 ECTS from the compulsory elective module International Commerce & Leadership.
Additional modules that are manatory but only offered in the summer semester:

When you have started in the winter semester, your 2nd semester will be contained of the modules from (b).
When you have started in the summer semester, your 2nd semester will be contained of the modules from (a).
As the IMS study is all about international, you will need to complete a semester abroad. You will have the opportunity to study one semester in one of our partner universities or in other universities, under given requirements.
There is also the alternative of doing a international project instead of a study abroad.
In your last semester, you will write your Master thesis and complete the master research seminar.

- Bachelor degree in Business administration or Economics with ECTS grade B or a minimum mark of 2,3 (in ECTS system). Marks from foreign education systems should be converted using the ANABIN transformation guidelines. ANABIN database is relevant as well for the recognition of foreign education certificates.
- Certified English B2- level skills (Vantage or upper intermediate) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, abbreviated as CEFR or CEF
- Certified German skills (only for non-native German speakers): A1 Level. The proof must be provided by the end of the 3rd semester at the latest.
